Congratulations to
Tracie Cason, former Glance Gwinnett Co-Chair, who was elected Superior Court Judge. Cason
won with 61.14 percent of the vote. Cason, who has spent
the last 21 years as a prosecutor, most recently as Deputy Chief
Assistant District Attorney for the Gwinnett County District
Attorney’s Office, said she was “humbled” by the win.
“I want to get out
into the community and demystify the system and make sure that our
citizens know that the system is there for them and will treat them
with respect and dignity and give them an opportunity to be heard,”
she said. “I have dedicated my entire career to protecting our
community and making sure that we are safe and strong. I have further
concentrated my career on protecting our children. I want to continue
to make sure that the most vulnerable among us are kept safe- whether
that’s in the criminal system or the civil system.”
