POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a creative and data-driven Marketing & Communications Coordinator to promote our programs, engage the community, and support sponsorship efforts through marketing materials and communications. The ideal candidate will have experience in content creation, data analysis, marketing trends, and CRM management, with a strong understanding of brand management and campaign execution.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Marketing Campaigns & Brand Management
    • Develop, execute, and manage targeted marketing campaigns (digital and traditional) to promote Leadership Gwinnett programs, events, and sponsorship opportunities.
    • Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials, digital content, and communications, while regularly updating and maintaining the relevance of the brand guidelines document.
    • Create and design collateral using Canva and other design tools, producing all company materials including presentations, reports, brochures, and promotional content.
    • Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics and marketing data (including social media, email, and web) to make informed decisions and optimize future marketing efforts.
  2. Market Research & Analytics
    • Conduct market research to identify trends, audience insights, and outreach opportunities.
    • Track and analyze marketing performance using tools like Google Analytics and social media insights to evaluate effectiveness and adjust strategies as needed.
    • Conduct surveys, collect and enter data to support decision-making.
  3. Website & Digital Presence
    • Manage website updates (WordPress) and ensure content accuracy and relevancy.
    • Oversee social media accounts, creating engaging content that aligns with brand messaging.
  4. Event Marketing, Program Promotion, and Sales
  • Represent Leadership Gwinnett at networking events, gathering testimonials and fostering community outreach to boost visibility and engagement.
    • Develop and execute promotional strategies for key events, creating buzz through media coverage, social media, and targeted email campaigns.
    • Drive membership sales for the Alumni Network and market programs including Leadership Gwinnett, Glance Gwinnett, alumni events, and public initiatives to maximize participation and reach.
  1. Sponsorship & Communications Support
    • Develop presentations and marketing materials to assist with sponsorship acquisition efforts.
    • Create communications highlighting sponsorship benefits and event visibility.
  2. CRM & Email Marketing
    • Manage CRM for accurate data and segmented email campaigns.
    • Craft and analyze email performance and adjust outreach strategies based on data insights.
  3. Content Creation & Community Engagement
    • Generate regular alumni communications, volunteer highlights, and assist in producing the annual report.
    • Gather impact stories and create content for various platforms.
    • Manage video content creation, including overseeing the production of the video podcast, scheduling and conducting interviews, editing footage, and promoting videos across platforms to maximize reach and impact.
  4. Administrative & Support
    • Provide administrative support to ensure the smooth execution of marketing initiatives and internal events.
    • Adaptable to evolving responsibilities and dynamic tasks based on team needs.
    • Willingness to contribute to diverse projects and changing priorities as they arise.
    • Additional responsibilities as needed.

 REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficiency in Canva or other design software, with basic video editing skills.
  • Experience with WordPress, CRM systems, and email marketing platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills for interpreting marketing data and optimizing outreach.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube
  • Ability to engage audiences and create effective content.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Familiarity with market research tools and techniques.

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings and late evenings, when necessary.
  • Professional office environment.
