The inaugural Founders
Night honored the founding trustees of Leadership Gwinnett. T.
Michael Tennant, Chair Emeritus and Founding Trustee, has been with
Leadership Gwinnett since the beginning. In honor of his 32 years of
service, 15 as Board Chairman, a scholarship fund was created in his
name and raised over $20,000.
Dear Friends,
I knew from the
original announcement of LG’s first Founder’s Evening that it was
going to be a special occasion. What a great way to celebrate our
success and ease on to my next phase after 32 years of loving and
living the program. Learning that my longtime, dear friend Jim Crupi
was to join me in a chat with the attendees gave me every reason to
know I was going to enjoy the festivities. Plus, we were having an
open bar with delicious food with Paul Sansone to be the official
host. Little did I realize that there was a dark, clandestine
conspiracy that would humble, stun and shock me to a state of
complete loss of words (something difficult for a well-seasoned
lawyer as I).

Leadership Gwinnett alumni and Glance Gwinnett graduates get the
exclusive opportunity to tour local treasures and hot spots. So far,
Leadership Gwinnett has visited Briscoe Field, the Buford Dam,
Chick-Fil-A Home Office, the Gwinnett Medical Examiner's Office,
Maxwell High School of Technology, and the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan
Mandir.
