During the last 15+years, Chuck Button served as the former COO and principal of JJG, now known as Jacobs, and later as a Client Service Manager for Jacobs. As COO he was responsible for managing resources of more than $75 million and overseeing personnel of over 500 employees. During the late 80’s and early 90’s, he led Gwinnett County as the County Manager during its time as the fastest growing county in the country. During his tenure, he was responsible for a budget exceeding $427 million and 2,700 employees. Button earned his Master of Science in Political Science and Public Administration from Iowa State University and his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Central Michigan University. He is an active or past member on the Executive Board of the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce, Gwinnett Clean and Beautiful Executive Committee, Council for Quality Growth Executive Committee, Gwinnett United Way Board, the Gwinnett County Redevelopment Board and many more.
