In 2008, Kendra was appointed by the superintendent of Gwinnett County Public Schools as the Director of the Quality-Plus Leadership Academy. She works in conjunction with Leadership Development and Human Resources and Talent Management to assist aspiring principals and assistant principals in becoming “Quality-Plus” leaders in Gwinnett County. Kendra also supports the professional growth and development of local school and district leaders through professional learning and coaching. Kendra received her B.A. in Communication and Film at the University of Notre Dame in 1994, her M.S. in Urban and Multicultural Education in 1999 at the College of Mount Saint Vincent, her Advanced Certificate in Educational Leadership in 2004 from the College of Saint Rose, and her Educational Specialist degree from Mercer University in 2009 and her Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Mercer University in 2013.
