T. Lanier Levett is a fourth generation Funeral Home and Crematory Owner Operator. He serves as the Chief Operations Officer for the largest independently owned and operated African American Funeral Home in the Southeast. Gregory B. Levett & Sons Funeral Home is a family business that was founded in Scottdale, Georgia in 1980 now with seven locations to serve from. The family legacy continues to serve families throughout the metro Atlanta areas, the United States, and International Countries.

Lanier holds the following Degree, Licenses, Certificates and former Affiliations: Gupton Jones College of Funeral Service, Funeral Director, Embalmer, Funeral Insurance Pre Need Agent, DeKalb Chapter 100 Black Men of America, Gwinnett County School Base Mentoring Program, Human Resource Advisory Council for Gwinnett County Public Schools, Graduate of Leadership Gwinnett, Gwinnett Clean and Beautiful, Gwinnett County Superintendent’s Business Leaders Council, Board of Directors Scottsdale Planning Committee only to name a few.

Lanier has a proven track record; as an exceptional innovative entrepreneur. He has successfully launched and managed a LuxuryTransportation and Limousine Service, Hair Salon and Barbershop, and a Used Car Dealership in Gwinnett and DeKalb County. He inherently understands that people are the single most valuable asset in the Community or any Industry Organization. Lanier has willfully used his Leadership roles as a platform to Educate, Grow and Build Strong Community Partnerships.

Lanier has been married 23 years to the beautiful and talented Dana Sullivan Levett; whose family is also in the Funeral Home business. Together, Lanier and Dana are the owners of the newly established Young-Levett Funeral Home with locations in Covington and Monroe Georgia. Dana also works in the Gwinnett County Public School System as a teacher, where their daughters also attended. They are the proud parents of two amazingly gifted young women. Jurnee Levett is a junior at Georgia State University majoring in Business and Sydnee Levett is a freshman at the University of Miami with a dual major in Biology and Spanish. Lanier attributes his success, strong work ethics, and his spirit of service to his parents, Mr. Gregory B. and Betty Levett. His parents have also worked tirelessly in their community as good and
faithful stewards. He also shares the accomplishments of the family business with his siblings Gregory Bernard Levett, Jr. and Deana Levett.

Lanier continues to work with several Community Outreach Empowerment Organizations; as a Mentor, Entrepreneur, and Financial Sponsor.
