Tammy Shumate

Tammy Shumate serves BrandMortgage in their Corporate Development position.
BrandMortgage currently provides loans in 10 states, and each of the branch locations boasts strong ties to the community that surrounds it. As a company, they also provide community reinvestment programs and employ over 200 talented people throughout the Southeast.
Tammy has received the United Way Women’s Legacy Award as well as the Gwinnett Chamber Public Service Award.
She previously served on the Grayson City Council for 18 years, Gwinnett Clean and Beautiful and the Mitsubishi Classic Board.
She currently serves on the Leadership Gwinnett Foundation, Leadership Gwinnett Board of Trustees, Gwinnett Chamber Executive Committee, The 1818 Club, The Community Foundation for NE Georgia and The Gwinnett Hospital Foundation.
Tammy grew up in DeKalb County and moved to Gwinnett in 1990. She currently resides in Atlanta with her husband of 33 years. Tammy enjoys reading, tennis and spending time outdoors.
